On a family trip to Hawaii, Katherine walked into a salon for a spontaneous quick haircut. What she didn't expect was the shampoo that followed — administered by a Japanese stylist with hands that seemed to know exactly where her tension lived. It was unhurried. Intentional. Transformative.
She left that chair feeling something she hadn't felt in a long time: completely cared for.
That moment planted a seed. It set her on a path of studying scalp care traditions from across Asia — Japanese head spa methodology, tsuboki face and head massage, Indian head massage (Champissage), and traditional Chinese scalp therapies.
Years later, La Chambre Rose bloomed from it.

Meet Katherine
FOUNDER | HOLISTIC PRACTICIONER
Katherine is a licensed cosmetologist with 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. Beyond her formal cosmetology training, she has devoted herself to studying the art of scalp care across many Asian holistic traditions — including Japanese head spa methodology and tsuboki face and head massage, traditional Japanese washing and shampooing, Indian head massage (Champissage), and traditional Chinese warm oil scalp therapies. She has synthesized these influences with her own deep expertise to create a head spa methodology that is uniquely her own — one that honors the body, calms the nervous system, and tends to the whole woman.But beyond her credentials, Katherine is someone who genuinely loves women. She has spent her career making women feel beautiful, heard, and fully seen — often in ways that extend far beyond what a beauty appointment might seem to offer. She holds her clients through transformation. She creates space for rest that goes deeper than relaxation.
This is her calling. La Chambre Rose is her gift.

Where We're Going
Katherine's vision for La Chambre Rose continues to grow. She dreams of expanding the space to offer a fully holistic women's sanctuary — incorporating energy work and inspirations from reiki, breathwork, and sound baths, and other service offerings to include yoni steaming, and art that celebrates the sacred beauty of the female form.
Because the work has always been about more than hair and skin. It's about women coming home to themselves.
